Michelle Kunjappu

Michelle Kunjappu is a 1999 graduate of Shippensburg University, where she holds a B.S. in Communications / Journalism / Public Relations. After college, she took hundreds of agriculturally-related pictures as she reported for Lancaster Farming Newspaper, the leading Northeast and Mid-Atlantic farm newspaper with about 55,000 paid subscribers. In addition to working for Lancaster Farming, she also does freelance work for MidAtlantic Farm Credit's quarterly publication, The Leader.

Her photography and writing has also been used in such venues as Agri-Basic's quarterly publication, The AGRI-VATOR; the Pennsylvania Beef Council; and Supreme Feed. Her November 2002 photo, “Autumn Capters” was printed on the front page of Lancaster Farming before it went on to be named “Best Ag Photo” of 2002 in the annual contest run by the Northeast Farm Communicators Association.
